Seche Vite Has Competition..

Well, maybe not really competition. I’d say more of a potential team-mate. If you remember my post from a couple of months ago, I raved about Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat and how it is a definite must-have in your nail polish box. In a nutshell, it dries your manicure at the speed of light (ok not quite but pretty darn fast), and it gives your nails a nice shiny finish that lasts, not to mention, it stretches out the days you can go between doing your nails because they don’t chip as fast.

I’ve actually discovered another nail product that I think works perfectly with Seche Vite. It’s by China Glaze and it’s called Strong Adhesion Base Coat. One coat of this, with your nail color on top (any number of coats), and then finish with Seche Vite and voila! You’ve got a manicure that may last you up to a week or longer without chipping (depending on how careful you are with your hands-ie wearing gloves when doing dishes or not using your nails to pry things open). With my twins you can imagine the beating my hands take on a daily basis and still I manage to go 7 days chip free!

Now I do have to add one more thing I heard about this product. At the time of publishing this post I hadn’t tried this method but I have read and heard several times that if you use this as a Base Coat AND Top Coat (with your nail color sandwiched in between) and then top off the whole shebang with Seche Vite, your manicure will last EVEN longer. My curiosity is definitely piqued! So far I am happy with the way I’ve been doing it because by about a week I’m ready for a change anyways, but perhaps worth trying when you are going on vacation or something like that. Maybe I’ll try this out in a couple of weeks when I head home for the holidays!

Simply put, this product, coupled with Seche Vite, is the best combination for keeping your manicures looking freshly done for as long as possible. Once again, priceless when it comes to saving time for busy moms. ESPECIALLY around the holidays when pretty nails are synonymous with christmas outfits and all the glam that goes with them!

Buy it and try it! As usual, I would love to hear your thoughts! Have you tried Seche Vite yet? What did you think?

Have a great weekend everyone!

I want to try thay basecoat! Seche Vite is normally my go to top coat, lovee how fast it dries but I absolutley hate that half way through the bottle - it gets sticky! I usually have to toss it. Do you find you have the same issue?

Yes! I think everyone has that issue with Seche Vite! But there is a product called “Seche Restore” which is a thinner that you can use to restore it back to it’s original consistency. Also works great to thin out any other old polishes! You’ll have to shop for that while you’re shopping for the China Glaze Strong Adhesion;) Let me know how it goes!
